You Can Win!

So many times we are wearied and faint in our mind,
Hindrances within, hindrances without, all about;
Obstacles in our way,
Sometimes can’t see the light of day.
Persecutions sure do come our way,
Troubles on every hand;
With faintness of mind we sure do go astray.

The Bible says, “laying aside every weight,”
But that’s hard to do.
We seem to be lazy, just sort of gain weight.
Hounded by others to do wrong, we give in.
Suffering in sin and shame, we try to hide our face.

Discouragement can set in and take away your grin.
You can get angry at this and at that.
“What’s the use?” you say,
“Can there really be a better way?”

Lost in a word of great sins,
How great are your sins?

You can make it all come to an end.
You don’t have to live in the pig’s pen.
There’s a way out of all of the mess you are in.

Repent of your sins, turn away from them.
Receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost,
It will refresh you.

You can stand against the devil
In your mind, in your spirit,
and in your flesh, too.

So don’t let the devil do you in.
You can win!
