My Lord Hears me

When my life is out of order,
I take my troubles to the water;
I lay them before the Lord,
On the banks of the calming sea…

And know for sure,
As long as my heart to Him is true,
My Lord hears me.
He swallows up my troubles and carries me through.

In my darkest hours and
Through my biggest fears,
He leads me to the Light
That is His Mercy and Grace.
He gives me Peace
Because I sought His face.

“Rest, My child,”
He says in a gentle voice.
“I will take care of you.
Just rejoice.”
