Do You Hear But Not Hear?

Hearing isn’t just hearing,
It’s receiving it deep down inside.
You can hear and remember,
yet still be unproductive.

Do you let the Word grow,
Are you willing to let it produce?

Remember, a plant doesn’t have fruit on it at the beginning,
But it shouldn’t take years for it to start producing some.
The Fruit of the Spirit produces things like love, joy and peace.

What seeds are being planted in your heart and mind?
Do you ever try to share the Gospel light?
Why not?

Early church – great revivals.
Where are they today?
The Gospel was spread – but in places it dried out.
What happened to it?

Paul warned that after his departure
false teachers would come in
teaching false doctrines – the traditions of men.

One of them is about a trinity.
Such traditions can stop church growth.
In the dark ages they didn’t want people to read the Bible.
They tried to hide the truth.

If you don’t know what the Bible says, they’ll try to get you to believe man-made doctrines.
The truth can bring revival.

Do you have a hunger for the truth?
The truth is still the truth today.
The devil tried to do away with it,
But the gates of hell can’t stop the truth.
