Lifted

Before there was light you moved in the dark
From nothing you created the spark

Before I could see, you shined your light
Before I could love, you held me tight

You let your love shine before I knew you
And now all my love is through you

I was born in sin and part of the fall
But you came to me and pardoned it all

Now a heart, lifted and full
Use me oh God, as one of your tool

Let that light spoken in my heart
Be the light to shine in the dark
