What if?

What if we could not come to church?

What if we could not praise the Lord?

What if we could not talk to God and He turned His back on us?

What if He wouldn’t help us?

What if God had never died for us?

What if there was no hope and no place for us to go but Hell?

What if evil won all the time?

Aren’t you happy that all these “what if’s” aren’t true?

You can praise the Lord!

Are you glad that Jesus loves you and He provided a way for you to be saved?

Are you glad that you can move and sing and clap your hands?

Are you glad that you still have a chance to praise the Lord like David and like the early saints did?

Aren’t you glad that you know who Jesus is?

Aren’t you glad that He is willing to make His home in your heart and that He never gives up on you?

Now think about it – Don’t you have an awful lot to be thankful for?

What if you praised Him like He deserves?
