The Remedy

The world seems to be filling with pill palaces. There is a new drugstore on nearly every corner. And yet disease seems to run rampant with new side effects from every drug adding to the mix.

God has a remedy in His Word for every situation.

  • The leaves in Revelation 22:2 are for the healing of the nations.
  • In James 2:13, Mercy rejoices over judgment.
  • In Revelation, chapters 2 and 3, He prescribes for the ailments of the Church body.

You can pray these remedies into your life…

There is so much available that we have not tapped. We go for tests – what do they reveal? Repentance is a great remedy, even in the natural world.

  • Do first works.
  • Don’t fear.
  • Be faithful.
  • Hate evil and evil doctrines.
  • Don’t know the depths of Satan.
  • Hold fast; keep Jesus’ works.
  • Keep your spiritual ears on.
  • Keep His commandments.
  • Be hot for Jesus.

God help us buy gold and white raiment and anoint our eyes with Your eye salve. Let us hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Let our spiritual senses be exercised and the “New Man” have full enrichment and care and growth.

Our old man should not be pulling out the New Man for an occasional dribble of food. No! The New Man needs first fruits and food every day, the old man should be starving or at least not getting what he wants. For some of us, it’s a miracle the new man is still alive and talking in us – because he eats so seldom. He’s still a baby in strength within us because of our lack and dullness and foolishness.

Let our faith work and overcome by His powerful Word, the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
